Our partnership is built on shared transatlantic interests and a mutual dedication to grassroots American football. As the UK Founding Partner of the Gridiron Grant and a proud supporter of the Reward Rows, we are committed to fostering the benefits of sport and community engagement for young people.
Established in 2018, the Gridiron Grant is the first sports scholarship of its kind, offering full tuition fees for two students each year to attend any UK university or vocational programme of their choice.
The Gridiron Grant is available to any young person who participates in a JagTag or JagTag Xtra Time program, or who is associated with a UK BAFA team. Applications are welcome from anywhere in the country and the scholarship fund can be used for any further education courses or vocational programmes.
Each year, the winners are selected through a detailed application and interview process conducted by a panel that includes a qualified educator, representatives from the Jaguars UK team and LGT Wealth Management US. The selection criteria include a commitment to further education or training and a strong desire to achieve success in their chosen field.
We are proud to support the Reward Rows, a programme which encourages children to achieve personal, academic and physical achievements and avoid potential pitfalls of anti-social behaviour through a Jaguars-backed reward system.
To date, over 3,500 young people have joined us to watch the Jaguars NFL games in London from all around the UK: Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Gateshead and London.
Every participant has to complete a booklet to monitor their personal achievements across four key areas: Joining in with the community, academic improvement, governing behaviour and sport & nutrition.

Hosted at the Honourable Artillery Company grounds, teams from across London – including accountancy firms, law firms and financial planners – gather to compete in a round-robin tournament, battling it out in the name of charity. With support from the Jacksonville Jaguars, this annual event raises funds for our partner charities, The Childhood Trust and the London Warriors Programme.
In addition to being a significant charity fundraiser, the Flag Football event provides an informal networking opportunity for the participating companies, many of which work with US-connected private clients and often collaborate with LGT Wealth Management US.
We and the Jaguars alike share an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to supporting the local community. Together, we aim to deliver outreach projects and develop grassroots American football, with the goal of fostering positive change within the wider community.
